Positive Perks opened on March 7, 2016.  

 

Positive Perks is owned and operated by Connie and Jamie.   Connie is no newbie to the cafe/deli business.  Connie operated the deli counter at the Midtown Mall grocery store for many years.  When the grocery store closed down Connie took action.

 

"See a need, fill a need" she says.

 

Connie wants to make people happy by providing them with their morning beverage, a nutritious breakfast or lunch and a warm, inspirational interaction.  "I want to create an atmosphere of positive energy".

 

The coffee at Positive Perks was sourced out months ago.  Connie decided to go with the Deadly Grounds Coffee Company.  Their coffee is bold but smooth and they are local.   They also have some interesting flavoured coffee to enjoy.  

 

Baked goods are mostly made in the shop by Jamie.   Jamie is always trying new recipes.  His maple bacon cookies are a huge success.  He also bakes tea biscuits, turnovers, and cookies.    

Although just starting out, Connie has big plans for her coffee and sandwich shop.  No matter what great specials or products are coming soon, Connie knows that she will continue to ensure positive energy into the space.  

 

Come and visit Positive Perks Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm.
